I have returned to old work to orientate myself, thinking about my temporality and history. In Thucydides’ History of the Peloponnesian War, he wrote that history is a possession for all time, not a competitive piece for immediate hearing. My 2004 works sit in this vitrine, orientating themselves as a recurrence and a gesture to the future.
